Jaflong is between Meghalaya of India and Gowainghat Sylhet of Bangladesh. It could be marked as the pilgrimage place for the tourists. If you see the Balla River from far, you cannot figure out what they are doing. They are in fact collecting stones one after another and see egg-shaped, square, and round, reddish, white and grey.

Now, these stones are used in construction works. There are also more of the river by a dinghy and can bath in it. If you visit the Khasiya ghetto you will see huge betel-nut garden and betel-leaves climbing the trees.
You will see a mosque in jaflang, under which cars can pass. Name of this mosque is Balaghat Shahi Mosque, built in 1978. Even you can see Balaghat Buddhist Temple. Besides these, you travel would be fulfilled if you see India-Bangladesh border check-post Tamavil, Shreepur picnic spot, Laal canal, Jainta palace and Jainta mountains.
