Jurachari has located 56 km from the headquarters of Rangamati. The word ‘jur’ means cold and the word ‘chhari’ means rhyme or spring. This Upazila is named after the spring named Jurachari. Jurachhari Upazila is bounded on the east by Mizoram in India, on the north by Barkal, on the south by Bilaichhari, and on the west by Rangamati. Rent for non-AC 700-850 Tk, AC 800-1000Tk. If you leave at night (10-11 hrs) you will reach Rangamati very early in the morning (6-7 hrs). The autorickshaw fare from the cantonment area of ​​Rangamati town to the reserve market will be 100 Tk. The trawler will take 10 to 11 thousand Tk for three days. You can also go by launch from the reserve market. One launch left at 8.30 is and another at 2.30 pm for Jurachari. The rent is 60 to 200 Tk per person. Only two launches come and go throughout the day. It takes about 3 to 4 hours. On the way, boats stopped at three or four wharves including Shuvlong and New Bazar.

You can also go from Dighinala to Khagrachari. In that case, you have to take a motorbike from Dighinala to Langadu very early in the morning.
